I made my first sale in 1986 in the magazine market and have continued writing articles along with working on my novels ever since. In 1992, I stopped dabbling in scriptwriting and began to focus on selling them. I currently have two optioned scripts and others in various stages of development.
In college, I took many creative writing courses including journalism, writing haiku, writing a children’s book…. Anything I could sign up for in creative writing, I did. (My degree is in Drawing and Painting with a minor in mathematics! Go figure.) But, I’ve been creating stories and writing since elementary school.
